Registrations for any classes, workshops or retreats are accepted by mail, phone, online or walk-in. Registration is not guaranteed until payment is received. Registration with payment is strongly encouraged as class sizes are limited and do fill quickly. If you pre-register without payment and the class fills, you will be notified and placed on a waitlist. You must present proof of any claimed discount by your second class. Scholarships should be requested prior to the start of class.

We are pleased to able to offer various discounts to our community. Everyone will need to show proof for any discounts claimed (this includes those who have prepaid with a discount). For MAPs registrants, you must present this proof by the second class or the discount WILL NOT be honored. For daylong and workshop registrants, you must present this proof at the door or the discount WILL NOT be honored.
Class Refunds requested in advance of 5PM on FRIDAY of that first week of class will be assessed a $25 administrative fee. We regret that we cannot give refunds after this date. Refunds should be requested by phone or email.
Workshop Refunds requested in advance of 5PM on the MONDAY prior to the event will be assessed a $25 administrative fee. We regret that we cannot give refunds after this date. Refunds should be requested by phone or email. Credit towards a future workshop/daylong will be provided if a registrant notifies us at least one day before daylong or workshop. Credit must be requested by phone or email and used within a limited time period.
MARC reserves the right to cancel classes due to low enrollment. Registrants will be notified in advance of the class.
No refunds or credits are given to registrant "no-shows".
We are grateful for the generosity of your time as a volunteer. There are limited spaces available for volunteers in every class, daylong and workshop. We also have special research and programming projects which one can do in exchange for attending a class or event. View the Work Exchange policy. We are happy to offer some full and partial scholarships to help offset the cost of classes and events. To receive a scholarship please send us an "Ask Letter". An "Ask letter" is a statement of need. Please let us know how/why this class or event will be beneficial to you. Tell us of your financial need. Do not disclose financial data such as social security number. These are granted in very limited numbers and are on a first-come first serve basis. You should pre-register for your class/event of interest. This insures your space in the class/event but does not necessarily guarantee your scholarship. The decision on scholarships will be made prior to the start date. You will receive a call or email confirming your scholarship. If you receive a partial scholarship, you may pay by check or credit card.
