Our second level classes deepen an already existing practice. Classes involve longer meditations. If you have taken a MAPs for Daily Living class with us you are welcome to join the advanced level classes.
If are an experienced meditation practitioner or have your own mindful practice, an advanced level class may be suitable for you. Please call our office at 310-206-7503 or email firstname.lastname@example.org to make sure.

Classes are held on the UCLA Campus in the Semel Institute, 760 Westwood Blvd. in room C8-201, in C Space. Find more information about parking and directions, here.
What kind of credits do you offer with your classes and workshops?
Credit Category 1 Continuing Medical Education (CME)The Semel Institute at UCLA is accredited by the Institute of Medical Quality and the California Medical Association to provide continuing medical education for physicians. The Semel Institute at UCLA takes responsibility for the content, quality and scientific integrity of this CME activity. The Semel Institute at UCLA designates this educational activity for a maximum of 14 hours of Category I credit in Continuing Medical Education and the AMA's Physician Recognition Award . Each physician should claim only those hours of credit that he/she actually spent in the educational activity. This credit may also be applied to the CMA Certification in Continuing Medical Education. Due to regulatory changes made by MCEP, psychologist may now receive CME certificates for their continuing education credit. The Semel Institute at UCLA is also an accredited provider for continuing Education Credits for LCSWs and MFCCs/MFTs (provider # PCE 378). This course meets the qualifications for 20 hours of continuing education credit as required by the California Board of Behavioral Sciences.
Please note, attendance at a 7th class titled "Clinical Applications of Mindful Awareness" (2hrs), and an additional fee of $50 will be required for those requesting CMEs.
Are MAPs for Educator program CEUs available for clinical psychologists, MFTs, LCSWs?
At this time, we do not offer CEUs. We hope to have CEUs available for future MAPs for Educator programs. If you have interest in CEUs for future MAPs for Educator programs, please let us know, email@example.com. We currently offer CEUs in our MAPs classes and in many of our other workshops.
